Introducing Grace & Grandeur

I opened an Etsy shop!!! If you follow along on Instagram, you know last week I teased about some of the “projects” in the works for my husband and I. This week I shared the news about one of those projects - my Etsy shop and brand Grace & Grandeur! If you love bows as much as I do, you should check it out! I am selling luxe handmade velvet bows for ladies and girls!

Why Open an Etsy Shop?

This shop is something I’ve dreamt of doing for years and something about 2020 made me decide what better time than the present? Close friends and family know that my mom has found tremendous success on Etsy. It’s great that I can chat with mom as I navigate these new waters! Etsy provides an awesome platform to promote G&G beyond my own community or online reach. I’m excited to dive in and learn more about this online marketplace I’ve shopped for years!

P.S. Blogger friends - you can use LTK to link to the bows on Etsy if you’re looking to earn a little commission ;)

Behind the Name

Grace & Grandeur refers to the glory of God’s kingdom coupled with his beautiful gifts of mercy and grace. Additionally, the name is a phrase that captures the elegance/poise/class/ and charm of ladies whom wear these lovely bows! I love this emergence of “grandmillennial” style… which mainly focuses on interior design, but many who admire this style embody similar qualities when it comes to their affinity for classic, preppy fashion. While it might not be mainstream for a woman my age to wear a hair bow, there is certainly a market for such and thankfully the internet is connecting us and our shared sense of style!!

A note about the bible verse. If you look closely, you’ll see a bible verse is noted on the logo.
John 1:14 says: “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
What a gift we have in Jesus!!

My Style and Vision Behind Grace & Grandeur

As I’ve said above, I love classic, refined style and I’m excited to share it with you through G&G! I love the luxurious look of velvet and it is so perfect for the holiday season. I plan to branch out into other handcrafted products after the holiday season and I couldn’t be more pleased with the bows as a launch pad! Family heritage and legacies, heirlooms, keepsakes and the stories passed down from one generation to another inspire me and my love for classic beauty. I want to translate that into the Grace & Grandeur brand.
