Penny's New Favorite Treat

Penny LOVES doggy ice cream! So today we thought we’d try a recipe for dog treat popsicles/ice cream! This recipe was super easy and she loved it! Getting photos of her enjoying her pupsicles, on the other hand, wasn’t easy!

We had fun getting outside with our sweet girl (despite the chilly temps) and had lots of laughs looking back at the photos! Be sure to check out the blooper photos at the end of this post!

Pup Fashion Side Note: Check out Penn’s adorable new bandana from Lucy & Co.!

I came across this recipe on Pinterest from the blog Home is Where the Boat Is. Scroll down for notes from my experience!

Notes

  • Ingredients: I used Trader Joe’s Nonfat Plain Greek Yogurt. For peanut butter, I used JIF Natural Peanut Butter. The recipe’s author makes an important note about checking your peanut butter for ingredients harmful to your pups!

  • Amount: The mixture filled a regular ice cube tray twice.

  • We used our Instant Pot Blender to mix them up! It was a gift from my mother-in-law last Christmas. If you’re in the market for a blender - it’s by far the best blender I have ever used!

  • The mini Milk Bone treats were the perfect size for the “handles!”

  • This is a great size for small dogs!

And now time for…

Bloopers!
