Strawberry Slaw

Quick post tonight! We tried a recipe for Strawberry Slaw tonight and LOVED it! Glad we have leftovers because I’m excited to eat it again tomorrow as part of my lunch!! I love finding cooler side dishes for summer nights and this one is perfect! It’s relatively quick (especially with a few shortcuts) and requires simple ingredients.

I love finding shortcuts and I know y’all do too! Dinner time doesn’t need to be complicated. So for this recipe, I highly suggest finding pre-chopped kale and green cabbage! Then, all you really have to do is wash and slice a few strawberries, mix up the dressing and toss it all together! Better yet, this dressing is so easy because I guarantee you have most ingredients, if not all, already on hand.

Variations of coleslaw are great for summer get togethers but they also make super uncomplicated weeknight dinner side dishes when you kinda want a salad side dish but salads tend to require several ingredients and you just don’t feel like fooling with it. And like I mentioned before, it’s just great to have something cooler (in temperature) to accompany your entree
