Happy Independence Day!

It feels so surreal to be celebrating America’s birthday already (considering the quarantine life)! We grabbed burgers from Shake Shack and took Penny to Central Park for a picnic!

We are pretty confused if there will be fireworks visible from the park but the weather is gorgeous and we figured what the heck, we will go hang out (socially distant from others) and just see what’s going on!

Shake Shack has locations and over now so it’s not really an NYC thing anymore (I guess) but we love it. We like to get the Shack burgers and I order mine with a gluten free bun!

Penny waited (rather impatiently) for us to drop any bacon crumbs from the loaded fries!!

While it would be so fun to be with family and friends at a cookout or other festivities, we are enjoying our NYC Independence Day celebration just us, and a bunch of strangers.. lol

Tomorrow marks two months of posting everyday on TAA and while I don’t have much noteworthy to say today, I still wanted to post and say that I hope you’re having a fun weekend with your loved ones!
