Quick and Healthy Brownies
If you love sweets but like to find healthy alternatives, this recipe is for you!! Darrell found this recipe and while he can’t eat them because of his nut allergy, he knew how much I wanted brownies so he made these for me! The taste and consistency of these date and walnut brownies remind me so much of a Little Debbie Cosmic Brownie, minus the tiny candy topping. I was shocked!
The ingredient list is short and super simple. You’ll need a food processor to process the ingredients for the right texture. The original recipe’s photos actually show their walnuts looking more coarse but I love how finely Darrell processed the walnuts because I think it makes it taste less “healthy” haha!!
What’s even better about these brownies? They’re significantly quicker to make than regular brownies - in about the time it’d take to preheat the oven, you can make these sweet treats - no baking required! After you whip them up, just store in the fridge, covered, for up to a week!

I love these fudgy, healthy brownies! I promise they will really surprise you! I would imagine if you didn’t tell children they’re any different than regular fudgy brownies that they wouldn’t notice!
