Darrell found this recipe and while he can’t eat them because of his nut allergy, he knew how much I wanted brownies so he made these for me! The taste and consistency of these date and walnut brownies remind me so much of a Little Debbie Cosmic Brownie, minus the tiny candy topping. I was shocked!

I used Libby’s Famous Pumpkin Pie recipe, and swapped out normal pie crust for a gluten free crust from Trader Joe’s to make this favorite dessert gluten-free and food-allergy friendly for our household! And it’s just as good as the “real thing” in my opinion!!
