TJ's Nut Butter Bar Mix

IMG_0731.jpg

I love a new Trader Joe’s find!! These Nut Butter Bars are so scrumptious! The mix itself contains nuts so I wasn’t able to share with Darrell, but that just meant more for me!! Haha! I used JIF Peanut Butter and pure maple syrup as the two ingredients needed for the mix.

You could use any nut butter you like (I was hoping I could use Darrell’s sunflower seed butter but realized the ingredients include a nut product so that was a no-go). Honey is also an alternative to the maple syrup! I miss Little Debbie Nutty Bars and these bars actually reminded me quite a bit of my childhood favorite!

This no-bake mix is great for an easy treat to whip up! Simply stir in a couple ingredients, smooth into a prepped pan. They’ll go in the freezer at first to firm up, then cut and store in the fridge in an air-tight container!

In my opinion, they’re best when consumed the day you make them, but that might have something to do with the container I used to store the bars. I’m not sure it’s the best air-tight seal so just be aware when selecting a storage option! Otherwise, I am super pleased with this TJ’s mix!! I found it on the New Arrivals shelf in my local Trader Joe’s.

Check out this post to see more of the TJ’s products I recently purchased!
