Review: Amazon Basics Microfiber Sheets

I recently gave in and decided to try microfiber sheets. I am typically all about cotton sheets and have avoided trying microfiber. Cotton is simply more breathable and I like the way cotton sheets feel. But we hadn’t been impressed with a set of cotton sheets and I was trying to find something available at Target or somewhere else nearby that I could pick up but they’re so dang expensive! I decided to try this adorable set from Amazon’s Amazon Basics line.

Much to my surprise, I don’t hate them!! I actually kind of like these sheets! First off, they’re super affordable ($18.99 for a set of queen size sheets is pretty great!). I love all the fun prints and designs you can find in microfiber as well! They don’t wrinkle nearly as bad as cotton. While we’ve only washed them once so far, they washed up very well. While they might be as cool as cotton, they’re definitely thin and don’t retain heat as bad as I had always thought they would.

All in all, I’m impressed. I will likely buy more microfiber sheets in the future. Maybe a fun holiday print later this year?
